Day 3: Free Day
On my third day in London, I had a day of free time. Our tour manager told us they would do city drop offs. I decided to drop off at the House of Parliament. I took a picture of myself in front of Big Ben. Then, I headed halfway across a nearby bridge and took a picture of the London Eye ( a huge Ferris Wheel that gives you a view of the entire city of London ). Unfortunately, my fear of heights stopped my from going onto the London Eye; instead i opted for the world famous Madame Tussaud's Wax Museum.
Using the Underground, I made my way from Westminster to Baker Street, and went to Madame Tussaud's. I took a lot of pictures of celebrities, comic book characters, and members of the British Royal Family. After the museum, I headed to Knightsbridge to do some window shopping. I ended up at Harvey Nichols, eyeing their amazing products and designer clothing. After, i walked toward Covent Garden for a little snack at a Prêt à Manger. I took a refreshing cola to drink and a Lemon Pie Parfait.
I headed back to the hotel to change,and eat supper. We met in the lobby later to head off and see Mama Mia! We got to the theater, grabbed our seats, and got a drink at the bar before the show. After the show, we headed back to the hotel. We had a big day ahead the next morning, so we had to get some rest.
