May Favorites

Hi Everyone! Sorry I haven't been writing a lot lately; but I have been so busy with work and life stuff. Now; I am back and inspired more than ever to continue with my blog.

Since the month of May has passed; I thought it would be a good idea to share some of the things I've been loving.

Beauty / Skin Care

VICHY Pureté Thermale Fresh Cleansing Gel

This Cleanser is so GOOD! It is Gel based, but it will not leave your face feeling dehydrated after a wash. Vichy is a good brand that I absolutely trust when it comes to skincare. Their products vary in the mid-price range; and for the quality for the products, it's well priced. I usually use this on days where I am on the run and just have time to wash and moisturise my face. I strongly recommend it especially in the Summer when you want something Quick and Easy .

BIODERMA Hydrabio Gel- Crème

Earlier in May, I ran out of my favorite moisturiser which is the Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel. My Mom recommended that I try the Bioderma Gel-Crème; so I bought it and tried it the next day and ... WOW! It felt so nice and light on my skin! The great thing about Bioderma is that they make great skincare products for sensitive skin. I absolutely LOVE their make up remover.

Hoola Bronzer by BENEFIT

For a while now, I have wanted to get the Benefit Hoola Bronzer. When I finally got it, I Loved it. It isn't too Orange-y like some bronzers and it really gave dimension to my face with out looking over the top. I Love Benefit products like the Porefessional and the Gimme Brow (which I still use); and I like the fact that these products work and are of a high quality.

PHYSICIANS FORMULA Argan Wear Mascara

This mascara is so COOL! I haven't raved about a mascara like this since the Too Faced Better than Sex Mascara. It is so much like the Too Faced mascara it's so CRAZY!!! I was recommended that mascara by my sister and it makes your lashes look insanely long and voluminous. It made with Argan Oil which supposed to help keep your lashes look long and thick. The best thing about this mascara, it doesn't make you lashes feel dry (which is what most mascaras feel like).

Music

Can't Stop the Feeling by Justin Timberlake

I found my new Summer JAM!!! I Love this Song! I think everyone will agree with me when I say '' It will this year's Summer Anthem''. It makes to Dance and Sing along to the lyrics.

Movies / TV Shows

Drop Dead Diva - Netflix

I Love this Show! I started watching this on Lifetime when it first came out, and I was hooked. Then, Lifetime didn't air it any more, and I was a bit upset. Lately, I was on Netflix and I saw that they added the show but only up until Season 5 and they didn't have the Final Season 6 (until it was added at the end of May). This show is so GOOD! You need to watch it!! It is witty and funny, Brooke Elliott (who is the female lead: Jane) is perfect for the part of Jane Bingum. You need to watch it if you want to know more about the series.

Big Brother Canada and US on CBS Network

I have Loved BIG BROTHER for so long. I started watching when I was 13 and I was completely hooked. When they came out with Big Brother Canada, I was so Happy! I love the sabotage, backstabbing, lying and all the DRAMA!

Books

Rick Steves' Italian Phrase book and Dictionary

For a while now, I have been trying to learn Italian. When I found this book, I knew I had found another way to learn the language and to learn more about the culture and the country. I love this book! It might look familiar because I brought with me on my vacation in Prince Edward County and put it in my 'What to pack for a camping trip' blog post!

I hope you liked this post about my May Favorites. I will be back next week with another blog post.
Have a good rest of your weekend.

My Bucket List

Whenever I think about all the things I would Love to do; I realize that it seems quite difficult to achieve all of them, but it is NOT Impossible. Sometimes you might think that bucket lists are for people who expect to leave this world soon. They are not for that purpose. A Bucket List is a list of things that you would Love to do during your time on this Earth. It is not morbid or depressing. My Summer Favorites 2014                 In this blog post, I will be talking about my favorite things from this summer. From great books to good eats and much more. I will talk about some of my favorite books, drinks (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic), food, and beauty items.   Books J'adore New York! by: Isabelle Laflèche . This book is an amazing mix of fashion, crime and love. I've read more than few times over the last few years. The character for Catherine is an amazing portrayal of a French woman's journey in America as a corporate lawyer. The story is really inspiring, showing that there are a lot of hard decisions to make in life, work and especially in love. It's the perfect book for women who have love of fashion and crime/law. J'adore Paris! by: Isabelle Laflèche . This book is the sequel to J'adore New York. In this book, Catherine returns to Paris with a new love and a new career...
