My Winter Pamper Routine & Relaxation Tips

Lately, I had been feeling a bit stressed or anxious. So, one day that I wasn't working; I decided to pamper myself. I make sure that I turn my phone off or on silent when I have a pamper session, just so that I don't get bothered with emails and texts. I will also talk about some relaxation methods that I do when I feel stressed out or anxious. So, here are the steps I take when I have a pamper session.

Skincare

First, I pull back my hair with a hair band, Then, I start by washing my face; and I have been using the Origins GinZing refreshing scrub cleanser. It makes my skin feels so smooth and re-energized, and it smells like Oranges. I love it so much.

After, I use the Origins Clear Improvements Active Charcoal mask; I evenly spread the mask on my face and leave it on for about 5 to 10 minutes.
Then, I remove it with an old face cloth and warm water.

Once the mask is off, I use the Simple Soothing Facial Toner. I use it with a cosmetic pad and spread it on. It is so refreshing.

I, then, use a cleansing oil. Lately, I have been using a sample of the Lancôme Énergie de Vie cleansing oil. I apply this with my index finger on my cheeks, chin and forehead. It is an oil, and some might say that it makes your skin all oily; but it absorbs quickly into the skin.

After that, I use an eye cream because I get quite dry around the eyes during the Winter season. I use the Lise Watier Lift & Firm Eye Cream. It is a rejuvenating eye cream; but I use it because it is very hydrating.

After the eye cream, I moisturise my face with a gel moisturizer. I use the Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel, because it just suits my skin type.

Bath Time

After I am done with my skin care, I run myself a luxurious warm bath. I used the Lush Intergalactic bath bomb, and the colours that come out of this bath bomb are quite extraordinary. During the bath, I will wash my hair with the Tresemmé Keratin Shampoo and Conditioner and my body with the Olay Ultra-Moisture body wash with Shea Butter.

After the bath, I use a body lotion. I used the Organix Nourishing Coconut Milk Body Lotion. It makes my skin feel so soft. It contains Coconut oil, Sugar Cane extract, Bamboo extract, Hibiscus flower extract, and Willow bark extract.

Movies & Books

I usually watch a movie if I want to relax; I chose to watch one of my favorite movies: Sabrina. I absolutely love this movie, and it just makes me feel so happy when I watch it. Sometimes, I might even watch a double feature (I'd watch Roman Holiday) or read a book (I've been reading Hello Life by Marcus Butler).

Relaxing / Meditation

Sometimes when I feel stressed or anxious, I resort to meditation. If I feel stressed; I go somewhere quiet, go on YouTube and search for Guided Meditations. Sometimes; I end up listening to Deepak Chopra's guided meditation, it only lasts around 9 minutes; it really focuses on breathing. I also use Spotify and go to Browse, down to Mood and choose Calm Down.
Another method of relaxation; I resort to baking. I usually make something easy like drop cookies like my Banana Chocolate Chip cookies or brownies.

There you go; here are some of the things I do to relax when I feel anxious, nervous or stressed out.
I Love to share these tips and secrets with you all.
Hope you have a good weekend!
