Books & Magazines

This book is so good! Tyler Oakley is one of my favorite YouTubers; I follow him on all my social media. His book embodies him in this memoir full of stories from when he was young to today.I love everything he stands for. I am recommending this book because it is Awesome.

Girl Online on Tour
by: Zoe Sugg a.k.a Zoella

This sequel to Girl Online follows Penny Porter as she embarks on a journey of a lifetime. I am not going to go into much detail because I want you to read it. This book is so good, and very insightful about a person living with anxiety and panic attacks. Zoe Sugg is also one of my favorite YouTubers, her main channel Zoella has recently reached 9 million subscribers.

Vogue Magazine

For the last few years, I have been loving this publication. Vogue is so inspiring for me when it comes to fashion, beauty and advertising. The articles are always so well-written and the pictures taken are so perfect. The two images down below are the October and November 2015 covers for American Vogue. I also like British Vogue and Vogue Paris. Apart from buying the magazine in a store, you can follow Vogue on social media like Instagram and Twitter.

Beauty

Jo Malone London Fragrances

One day, a few weeks ago, I was on a shopping trip in Ottawa. I went to Nordstrom; which had opened about a year ago in the Rideau Centre. I entered the department store and went into the fragrance department to see what they had. I was just looking around and made my way to the Jo Malone counter out of curiosity. I was really loving two scents: the Wood Sage & Sea Salt and the Earl Grey & Cucumber. The clerk asked me if wanted a sampler to wear and see if I liked them. Recently, they came out with a new scent that blew my mind: the Mimosa & Cardamom.

Lush

A few weeks ago, I went to Lush to get some Bath Bombs and was given a little magazine. It contains new products that were coming out soon. I am so excited about the bath bombs like the Experimenter, Intergalactic, and Yoga Bomb. I did mention Lush in my last Favorites blog post; but I really like it.

Music

Spotify

There are many applications available for download on your smartphone to play music. Lately, I have been loving Spotify. You can search for your favorite artists and their albums even on the day the album is released ( if they are partenered with Spotify). I also listen to meditation music when I need to relax. I just search meditation and relaxation, and then your options will show and you can follow or save them.

Little Mix

On the X-Factor UK Finale in 2011, Little Mix became the first group ever to win the X-Factor UK. The group has four members: Perrie, Leigh-Anne, Jade and Jesy. They auditioned as soloists and in bootcamp they were put together in group. They had success in the UK and I discovered their videos on YouTube in 2012 when they released the DNA music video. Recently, they came out with Black Magic as their new single, and I LOVE it. Also their album Get Weird just got released this week.

I hope you liked reading about my recent favorites. I hope you have a good weekend!
