My Fall Skincare & Make up Routine

Hi Everyone!

It's finally Autumn! It's time for sweaters, hot beverages and a new Fall wardrobe. It is my favorite time of the year! But, as the colder weather comes along; my skincare and make up routines change.

So, I will show you how I take care of my skin during Autumn and Winter and also give you a step by step make up routine that I use quite often during this time of year.

Skincare

As you can see in the picture above; these are the products that I use during the Fall/Winter months.

  • Cleanser : Simple refreshing facial gel cleanser
  • Exfoliater : Simple exfoliating facial wipes
  • Toner : Simple soothing facial toner
  • Moisturiser : Clinique dramatically different moisturizing gel/lotion
  • Pore Minimizer : the Porefessional by Benefit
Step One: Cleanse & Exfoliate

For a cleanser; I use the Simple refreshing facial gel cleanser.
I really like it because it doesn't make your skin feel oily; especially for people who have combination to oily skin, this is a good product.
So, how I use it is just run a face cloth under warm water and squeeze a pea-size of cleanser.
Then, you start on your forehead, and go in small circles around your face and neck; and rinse off with warm water.
Then, while you face still wet; use a Simple exfoliating facial wipe to exfoliate your skin.
The wipes help take out any extra impurities you might still have on your face.

Step Two: Tone, Moisturise, Pore Minimizer

For a toner, I use the Simple soothing facial toner. Toners are used to help even out your skin tone.
I just use a cotton pad and put on a bit of the liquid, and rub it gently on my face.
Then, I use the Clinique dramatically different moisturizing gel or lotion and rub it onto my face with my fingers.
Finally, my final step is to use the Porefessional by Benefit and just rub a tiny bit onto troubled place of my face where I might have acne.

Make up

These products in the picture above are the make up products I use for a quick & easy make up look.

Concealer : Rimmel Wake me up concealer in ''Very Fair''
Foundation : Lise Watier Luminous foundation in 02
Powder : Covergirl Clean pressed powder in 210 Classic Ivory
Brows : Gimme Brow by Benefit in Medium/Dark brown
Eye Shadow : Maybelline EyeStudio palette in Copper Chic
Eye Liner : Marcelle hypo-allergenic liquid liner in ''Very Black''
Mascara : Too Faced ''Better than sex'' mascara
Blusher : Fit Me by Maybelline in 104 Light Pink
Luminous Powder : L'Oréal True Match Lumi powder

Step One: Face

So, my first step is always Concealer and I just dab a bit around my nose, under my eyes and on any troubled areas, and I just blend it in with a Quo flat foundation brush.
Then, on to Foundation and the one I have has a little pump; so just squeeze a little pea size onto the back of your hand. To blend it in, I use the Lise Watier foundation brush.
And finally, to keep it all in place, I use my pressed powder and my Royal & Langnickel powder brush.

Step Two: Brows & Eyes

After I've done my face, I move on to brows; and I use the Gimme Brow and R&L brow brush to blend them in.
For Eyeshadow, I use the Copper Chic palette because the copper and gold tones go well with my skin during the Fall months.
First, I use the light gold shade sweep on to the inner corner of my eye and on my brow bone to highlight. Then, I use the copper metal shade and sweep it across my lid with my R&L eyeshadow brush.
For Eyeliner, I prefer a liquid liner because the stay power is excellent and it makes my eyes pop. So, I just start at the inner corner of my eye and trace the line just little bit towards the outside to have a winged liner look.
And finally, for mascara I just sweep the brush on to my  top lashes to create a voluminous lash look.

Step Three: Finishing touches

For a finishing touch I use and R&L powder brush again and apply blush and luminous powder on my cheeks and to contour my face.

And that is how I do my skincare and make up routine during Autumn and Winter. I really hope you enjoyed reading my blog post. I will back soon with another post. Don't forget to like, comment and share!
