My Summer Reading List

My Summer Reading List

During the summer time, I like to spend most of my time reading books. Whether I am going on a trip to the Sandbanks or going camping with my family and friends, I always bring a book or two with me. The following list of books is going to be My Summer Reading List. I strongly recommend these books to anyone. I also included some pictures of the books. Enjoy!

What Would Audrey Do? by Pamela Keogh

It all started in 12th grade, when we had to do a project for English Class. The project was that you had to write a biography about a person in history. We had to pick our subjects out of a hat, and out of luck I got Audrey Hepburn.

Anyways, I love this book because you can open up this book and learn more about Audrey and tips on everyday stuff. From Travel tips to talking about her work with UNICEF, this book is the epitomy on ''Timeless lessons for living with Grace and Style''. My favorite chapter in this book is Chapter 5 ''On the Road''. It states travel tips and packing essentials that Audrey would swear by. The most important part for me in this chapter is InFlight ''Dress, for God's sake!'': It states that; although you want to be comfortable on your flight; You don't have to wear sweats, hoodies and sneakers on a flight. A nice pair of jeans, a shirt and a well-fitted jacket with flats are a good combination.

J'adore New York & J'adore Paris by: Isabelle Laflèche

These two books are amazing! They follow Catherine Lambert, a chic Parisian lawyer who is transfered to New York, who works on high profile files and clients at Edwards and White. With a year of work in New York, she then goes back to Paris with her new boyfriend. She starts working at Dior as their Intellectual Property Director and starts to crack down on international counterfeit. Both stories follow each other well; and it is well-written. I recommend these books to anyone who loves to read about law, friendships, relationships and fashion.

Girl Online by: Zoe Sugg a.k.a Zoella

This is an incredible book; and I love the story. Zoe Sugg writes about a young teenage girl named Penny; who starts having anxiety and panic attacks. When her mother lands a last minute wedding planning gig in New York during Christmas time; Penny and her best friend Elliot join her parents on the trip. In New York, they stay at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel; which is the perfect setting for a wedding during Christmas. She meets a handsome young man named Noah and they quickly start to spend time together and fall in love. The rest of the story is a mystery. This story has a sequel on its way: Girl Online 2.

A Work in Progress by: Connor Franta

In this memoir, Connor Franta talks about his journey through life even if he is only 22 years old. He talks about living in a small town, friendships, school, dropping out of college, and other aspects of his life. My favorite chapters in the book are: ''Where I find Happiness'' because he lists places and things that makes him happy; and ''Life doesn't Wait''. I recommend this book to everyone because Connor Franta is an inspiration to me and I love his videos on YouTube.

Love, Tanya by: Tanya Burr

To say I Love this book is an understatement, I ADORE this book. It contains a cornicopia topics. From talking about Gowing up in Norwich and meeting her fiancé Jim to Beauty and Fashion; Tanya Burr is insightful and amazing. My favorite parts of the book have to be Fashion, Baking & Recipes and Love. Tanya Burr is a beauty blogger and a YouTube sensation. She also launched a cosmetics line called Tanya Burr Cosmetics; which ranges in nail polish, lip gloss and false lashes; launched in January 2014.

I hope you enjoyed reading this blog. I love all these books and will definitely be reading them again. Have a wonderful day!! :)
