Banana Chocolate Chip Cookies

Banana Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipe

Everyone has a favorite hobby: reading, hiking or playing soccer; mine happens to be Baking. I love doing this hobby whenever I have the time. This recipe is my favorite one because it combines two of my favorite ingredients: Bananas and Chocolate. I used to make these cookies for bake sales when I was in school; they always seemed to be the ones to go. I used to never share my recipe with the other students; but now I think it shouldn't be a secret any more. So, here you go.

Ingredients

2/3 cup salted Butter
1 cup Sugar
2 Eggs
1 tsp Vanilla Extract
2 1/2 cups All-Purpose Flour
2 tsp Baking Powder
1/4 tsp Baking Soda
1 tsp Nutmeg
1/4 tsp Salt
1 cup Bananas; mashed (usually 2 bananas)
1 1/2 cups Chocolate chips
(I used an equal mix of milk and white chocolate and toffee bits)

Don't forget the Bowls and Measuring Instruments!

Instructions

1. Preheat oven at 350˚F (180˚C)

2. In a Large bowl, beat the Butter and Sugar together until well combined.
Then, add the Eggs and the Vanilla and mix together.

3. In a separate bowl, add the Flour, Baking Powder, Baking Soda and Nutmeg;
and mix together with a spoon

4. Now, you will alternatively mix the dry ingredients and bananas with a spatula;

5. After the mixture is well combined; add the milk and white chocolate chips and toffee bits;

The mixture should look like this.

6. With a miniature ice cream scooper, spoon the cookie dough onto a baking sheet.

7. Put the baking tray in the oven, and bake for 10 to 12 minutes.

8. When they are done, put them on a cooling rack with aluminium foil for about 5 to 10 minutes.

I hope you try the recipe and love the cookies and send me your feedback.
